Associate Wealth Management Advisor

Heckmann Financial is a leading financial planning and advisory firm based in Middleton, Wisconsin. We serve high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals, families and related entities. Primary Function

As part of our team of specialists, our Associate Wealth Advisors ensure our clients' best interests come first, and their most complex planning needs are identified and met through a comprehensive approach to their total wealth, life goals, and objectives. They:

  • Serve as resource for clients with complex needs around financial planning, investments, insurance, tax management, executive compensation, retirement analysis, estate planning, philanthropy and business succession planning.
  • Think both strategically and tactically, identify solutions appropriate for each client's situation, and help design, implement and manage the planning process.
  • Responsible for developing and strengthening client relationships.
  • Develop niche expertise in certain business segments and serve as a resource to the firm in that area.

Qualifications

  • Series 7
  • The following designations are desired: CFP, CPWA, WMCP, RICP
  • Five years in securities industry
  • Familiarity with Microsoft applications and data entry and information retrieval software
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong critical thinking, financial analysis and problem-solving skills required
  • Ability to manage multiple diverse projects and assignments in a timely and quality manner
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain effective working relationships with clients

Director of Planning

Primary Functions

As part of our team, our Planners identify and deliver clients' planning needs through a comprehensive approach to their total wealth, life goals and objectives. Our Planners:

  • Work jointly with lead advisors and specialists on designated client relationships.
  • Oversee and prepare client analysis net worth statements, cash flow plans, estate summaries, insurance reviews, retirement analyses and tax planning.
  • Are responsible for coordinating client implementation with internal hubs and outside service providers.
  • Mentor and develop planning associates.
  • Actively participate and contribute to Planning Team projects for efficiency, productivity, advice and client experience.

Qualifications

Required

  • Life, Accident & Health Insurance licenses
  • Series 7 & 63
  • Advisory services and broker/dealer experience with demonstrated investment knowledge and understanding of markets, products, platforms, and services
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, finance and/or related industry experience

Preferred

  • Ability to assess client financial situations and analyze portfolios to develop and implement comprehensive financial plans aligned with client goals
  • Counsel representatives on a variety of proactive approaches, investments and solutions

Planning Associate

As part of our team, our Planning Associates identify and deliver clients' planning needs through a comprehensive approach to their total wealth, life goals and objectives. Our Planning Associates:

  • Assist Senior Planners with preparation of wealth blueprints—net worth statements, cash flow plans, estate summaries, insurance reviews, retirement analyses and tax planning.
  • Provide client-level support to Advisors for clients.
  • Assist clients with login and other navigation issues with eMoney.
  • Effectively capture, manage and facilitate the completion of planning work with an Advisor's direction.
  • Actively participate and contribute to Planning Team projects (internal and external).

Qualifications

Required

  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work well with others
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to set priorities and meet deadlines

Client Care Associate

Heckmann Financial is a leading financial planning and advisory firm based in Middleton, Wisconsin. We serve high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals, families and related entities. We help clients simplify their financial lives, make better decisions and bring focus so that they can maximize their time, money, relationships and ultimately, their impact.

Primary Functions

The Client Care Associate is an integral part of the overall client experience, supporting the Wealth Management Team. A high degree of accuracy is required, with the Client Care Associate acting to ensure a satisfying and memorable client experience. Client Care Associate role:

  • Coordinates, prepares, mails and processes initial document packages.
  • Handles all necessary account maintenance such as wires, journals, check requests, transfers and money-links, new applications, changes of address, etc.
  • Processes any returned documents from clients including contracts & investment policy statements, applications, transfer paperwork, etc. according to established department procedures.
  • Inputs and maintains accurate client information in all appropriate databases and software applications.
  • Tracks outstanding client transfers and purchases/redemptions of alternative assets.
  • Effectively manages and prioritizes work flow created from CRM action items, phone calls from clients, emails, and additional work not flowing through the central database.
  • Verifies that all requests to custodians are received and handled to completion.
  • Scans and files any paperwork directly generated by personal daily activities and assists the team with scanning/filing when necessary.
  • Ensures that complete cost basis information for client accounts is updated and available with the appropriate custodian.
  • Actively participates and contributes to Client Care Team projects (internal and external).
  • Develops an understanding of the Firm's Financial Solutions philosophy, programs, features and benefits. Strives towards a thorough understanding of firm services, philosophies, and ideologies.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience in the financial services industry with a concentration in securities and investment operations
  • Series 7, and 63

Preferred

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, a can-do-attitude, enthusiasm, and a strong aptitude for learning.
  • The ability to effectively prioritize workloads and complete tasks within well-defined guidelines and time constraints is essential.
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail are critical given the nature of paperwork, processes, and work, upon which both clients and the Wealth Management Team depend.
  • Analytical thinking skills with the ability to draw on a range of resources to ensure a high-quality outcome across the position responsibilities.
  • Familiarity with the Pershing platform
  • Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Excellent customer service and administrative abilities.
